In memory: Dr. Wilson G. Pond

ASAS has learned of the death of Dr. Wilson G. Pond on May 22, 2017. Dr. Pond served the society in many ways, including as an editor-in-chief of the Journal of Animal Science (1976-1978), as well as an ASAS president (1980-1981). He was an ASAS Fellow and received numerous national and international awards including the most prestigious award in Animal Science, the Morrison Award, for his career work in the field of non-ruminant nutrition.
